Why We Love This Brand

Eperfa which means mulberry in Hungarian was established in 2016. The products are inspired by the love of the landscapes and wildlife in Hungary, the hills around Budapest and the ever-changing lake Balaton. The designs are further perfected with consults from field experts such as Birdlife Hungary, the Hungarian National History Museum and the surrounding national parks. 95% of the wood comes from Duna-Ipoly Nemzeti park, directly from the foresters who maintain the wood there. All of the toys are produced ethically, by individual craftsmen and in small workshops around Budapest, where disabled and socially underprivileged people are employed.
