Why We Love This Brand
Tegu was started by Will and Chris in 2008 in Tegucigalpa by asking this one question: "Could we create a for-profit company based in Honduras that would foster a positive social impact through its business?”. They established an fully independent toy factory in Honduras to make blocks that are all designed to work together. They started by with the help of some forward thinking preschools and kindergartens in Silicon Valley and soon Tegu Blocks came to life in a most natural environment – children's hands.
